sometimes I eat alone so I need the tissue.

I think the real cause of the unhappiness is that singapore is horrendously overpopulated hence the sheer difficulty getting a seat anywhere.

I think it's better to leave a person too though I understand the need to leave tissue paper on the seat which is the reason why most of the time I just prefer to buy back my lunch to eat

i do eat at hawker centers quite a lot. but when i do, it's usually in the mornings on weekends. most people are probably still sleeping =P hahaha

oh man.. one of these days, i will invite you with that HD camcorder of yours to film the mayhem of what actually goes on...

really.. it's disconcerting to be at the end of a threat by senior citizen women over something as idiotic as a low-quality face towel being given out as souvenirs..

and that's after you stop trying to give it to them for their own safety due to everyone pushing and shoving, swearing and shouting.. pushing each other out of the way just to get a face towel which costs less than $1

If I'm alone? Tabao and eat alone in some secluded area.

I will never use tissue paper as a proxy for me.

Anyway, nowadays I eat only at 2 pm. 11.30am to 2 pm at NUS is pure bedlam.

Lunchtime at NUS canteens is scary business. Lunch shuttles from the nearby Science Park actually bring office workers here because of the cheap food.

After all... where else can you get chicken baked rice at $2.20 and black pepper steak at $3.40?

same here. sometimes i figure i might as well pay a bit more and eat at a nicer place and have a table/seat.
